WowMatrix No Longer Works Since Today’s World of Warcraft Patch

Regardless of how you feel about WowMatrix, many, many players use it to keep their UI up-to-date. Unfortunately for those people, Curse and WowInterface chose today to take concerted efforts to block the use of WowMatrix with the addons they host. You can read their reasoning here, straight out of Kaelten’s and Cairenn’s mouths.

From a running-a-business standpoint, it’s hard to argue that they aren’t justified, but it will nonetheless result in a lot of disappointment and frustration among players. (more…)

PC Power & Cooling introduces the Pro-Source UPS for Ultimate PC Power Protection

pro-source_1500_3_3874OCZ Technology Group, a worldwide leader in innovative, ultra-high performance and high reliability memory and PC components, today unveiled the Pro-Source 1500, the first Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) from PC Power & Cooling. Built for absolute stability and reliability from one of the most trusted names in power supplies, the Pro-Source 1500 UPS is the cost effective power protection solution for today’s high-end enthusiast and mission-critical systems.

Designed by PC Power & Cooling to be fully compatible with all PC Power and OCZ brand PSUs, the Pro-Source 1500 UPS is your ultimate source of back-up power. The Pro-Source provides a pure sine wave output, versus the conventional square wave or “step” sine wave produced by lesser quality UPS units. A pure sine wave is essential to a professional-grade back-up power source, while an inferior “step” sine wave plays havoc with today’s sophisticated and sensitive power factor correction (PFC) circuitry, making it possible for your PSU to reject the back-up power source and shut down. A professional UPS should output the same quality of power that your utility line delivers, and the Pro-Source 1500 does just that, providing a clean, pure sine wave to effectively power your high-performance PSU during a utility failure. Likely, Boomtown’s Kara Swisher gets tired of being the TechCrunch Google-rumor-debunker. Maybe not. She seemed to enjoy reminding readers about the Michael Arrington grapevines sprouting out tales of Google buying Digg and Bebo, neither of which ever happened. This time it’s Twitter.

In the comments of TechCrunch’s rumor report that Google was in late-stage talks to buy Twitter, Arrington notes that posting a rumor is a good way of shaking out information. Maybe next time he should just give Swisher a call and save everybody a lot of trouble. Swisher, married to a Google executive, generally has the better inside scoop. (more…)

Yeh you have probably seen this before, in an email or searching the web. People stating they have earned 3000 dollars a day just from using their blogs and by using CPA Commissions, sounds unbelievable? Well trust me a lot of people promoting these ways of affiliate marketing are just plain bogus, asking you to pay anything between 49,- & 299,- US dollars (this is just an example some do ask a lot more). However there are people that do know what they are talking about and are willing to share their information with you for free.

Do note that you will have to work for it, you wont get paid sitting on your ass just reading on how to do it! Some think oh well lets sign up and place an affiliate link and the money will come poring in. It won’t. If you are still interested in learning how to make serious money on the web read on. (more…)
