Seagate always enjoyed a reputation of reliability maintained well by the guarantee 5 years of its discs at the time where competition proposed only 3 years as well as possible. On the other hand, from pure a performances point of view, the discs 7200tr/mn general public of the manufacturer made gray mine with access times and flows quite lower than competition. Generation 7200.11 made it possible to change all that while proposing at the same time very correct excellent flow but access times for a 7200tr/mn, also accompanied by noise pollutions contained well. They could thus find their public in spite of the savage competition of Samsung (F1) initially, then of Western Digital. Whereas the 5 years guarantee is not any more setting, Seagate proposes a new generation to us. What is it worth? Prompt response in this Puissexpress.
